Throughout her long journey in bhakti, she connected thousands of devotees with God. Her followers feel the true meaning of the mantra -
“Guru Brahma, Guru Vishnu, Guru Devo Maheshwara, Guru Sakshath Parambrahm Tasmaye Shri Guruve Namah”
Shri Meera Maa, the one who founded Shri Durga Jyotirmay Dham Trust in 2010, had the noble aim of uniting people through the devotion (bhakti) of every god and creating a bond between God and the devotees. Under this trust, she established the Dham in Kanjhawla, Delhi, where every Monday Satsang is held, and during Navratras, daily Satsangs are performed.
She left her physical presence on April 14, 2024 but her devotees still feel her presence in the Dham and whenever they remember her. Shri Meera Maa was blessed with two sons and four grandchildren. She began her journey of bhakti at the very early age of 18 years.
Every Tuesday, she would visit Maa Jhandewali Mandir to connect with the divine, and Maa Jhandewali chose her as her special child. In the early days, she would also conduct Satsangs at the homes of devotees every Monday and during each Navratra for almost 20 years.
Because it was Shri Meera Maa who helped them understand the true essence of God and true meaning of bhakti.
She never hesitated when it came to helping the needy and always did beyond what was expected of her to assist everyone. She is the true soul whose presence continues to live on in the Shri Durga Jyotirmay Dham.
And to take on the responsibility of serving humanity, the devotees of Shri Meera Maa decided to start a foundation under the same trust. The foundation aims to help those in need by providing food, blankets, clothes, etc to the poor, also offering medicines to those who cannot afford them, and planting trees to contribute to the environment.
It also strives to feed cows, as in Sanatan Dharma, we believe that cows are our mothers. We wish to serve Bharat Mata by serving her people, serve Dharti Mata through tree plantation, and serve Gau Mata by providing food for cows.
